About the game

Haunted Paws is a Cozy Coop Horror game where you will play as two Puppies trying to rescue their human friend in a haunted mansion. Create your puppy, explore spooky environments and defeat evil creatures in an action packed adventure!

Early Game Lore

Kira Pawsley, a journalist and proud owner of two puppies, has a passion for exploring spooky places and sharing her discoveries with the world through social media. She stumbles upon an intriguing village called Barkville, surrounded by rumors of a Haunted Mansion. As Kira digs deeper into the mystery, she uncovers a disturbing pattern—several reporters before her had also investigated the mansion, only to vanish without a trace. Determined to learn more, Kira meets the same fate and is abducted by someone intent on keeping the mansion's secrets hidden.

After her disappearance, Kira's two loyal puppies use the information she gathered and set off on a courageous journey to rescue their best human friend. Along the way, they must solve the mansion's many mysteries and uncover the truth behind its haunting.

Inside the Haunted Mansion, the puppies discover that the undead (skeletons) have been resurrected and now live there as if it's in its prime. They tend to the gardens, cook meals, clean rooms, and perform other household chores. As long as the puppies don't disrupt their routine, the undead remain indifferent to their presence. The puppies also find clues about the mansion's former owners, who are said to be cursed and transformed into beasts—one of whom, an owl-like creature, is introduced in the early gameplay trailer. To save Kira, the puppies must help defeat these creatures and help them to restore their human forms.

The deeper the puppies dig into the mansion's secrets, the more they uncover the malevolent influence of a mischievous black cat that seems to be at the heart of it all.
